This conference is presented by I-MDRC and CIAPSE. I-MDR, the International Motor Development Research Consortium, was established in 2014 to increase the visibility and impact of motor development research via international collaborations. CIAPSE (Congrès Internationale sur l’Activité Physique et le Sport chez l’Enfant) had its first assembly in France in 2010 with the aim to provide a forum for discussion open to scientists and educators around children’s growth, motor development, physical activity, and sport. Promoting practical applications of research for children’s health and development is also a common theme for both organizations.
We are very excited to bring these two organizations together and we hope our significant collaboration will ensure a meaningful and productive conference experience for you. The setting for the conference is the beautiful and historic city of Verona, Italy where, we are sure you would all agree, magic can happen.
Welcome in Verona on behalf of the Scientific Committee of the Congress
